Kiama win third consecutive Junior Pennant
Kiama have won the Junior Pennant for the third straight year. This year as there were only two teams nominated and, it was decided rather than cancel the competition, that the two teams play on a home and away basis.
The first round in the home and away format at Kiama saw the home team come away with a 4-2 win. This meant that Gerringong had to win 4.5 matches at home to take the win. In a close match, that went down to the wire, Gerringong only won 3.5-2.5 which meant that Kiama won 6.5-5.5 on aggregate.
Kiama will now go on to play the Far South Coast DGA, on a date to be advised, for the right to progress to the Finals in Sydney.
